From September 2012 Kent and Medway Training tuition fees will be £8,300 (subject to agreement from OFFA). Candidates can apply for a full or partial tuition fee loan up to this amount from Student Finance England www.direct.gov.uk.This will be paid directly to Kent & Medway Training once you are registered
You may choose to pay the Tuition Fee loan privately. If you intend to do this you will be informed of the due payment date prior to the commencement of the course.Full details will be in the contract you will receive if a place on the SCITT is offered and accepted.
Bursaries available:
From September 2012 the amount of bursary paid to trainees will be linked to the subject they are being trained to teach and the grade achieved at degree level. See below for details. The TDA will inform providers shortly with further detail on the operation of 2012/13 bursaries.

We are a SCITT (School Centred Initial Teacher Training) consortium of seventeen successful schools in the Kent and Medway areas, providing post graduates with the opportunity to train to become secondary school teachers. This one year full time course, based entirely in schools within our consortium leads to a PGCE ((Professional Graduate Certificate of Education) and Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
