Gravesend Grammar School for Girls was reported by OFSTED as being "a very good school with several outstanding features that provides its pupils and sixth form students with a high quality education." It admits girls from the top 25% of the ability range and, therefore, is a selective school. The school offers a broad, balanced curriculum, both traditional and forward thinking in content and delivery, which responds to the challenge of the National Curriculum. It also promotes the social, moral, cultural, spiritual and physical development of the pupils, preparing them for the opportunities and responsibilities of adult life.
