TASTER DAYS FOR TEACHING
 
22nd, 23rd and 24th March 2010

IMPORTANT NOTE - THIS EVENT IS NOW FULL HOWEVER KMT are currently planning additional taster days for enquirers interested in training to teach Science, Maths, ICT, MFL and Design Technology.  Please e mail kesland@thomasaveling.co.uk if you are interested in arranging a one day taster visit to observe one of these subjects in one of our consortium schools.

·         Day 1 - Introduction to ITT at Kent & Medway Training
·         Day 2- Full day in school - opportunity to observe
·         Day 3 - morning observation at contrasting school, afternoon debrief/questions and answers
 
This three day course is free.
(Applicants are required to send a £20 deposit, refundable following full attendance)

We are a SCITT (School Centred Initial Teacher Training) consortium of fifteen successful schools in the Kent and Medway areas, providing post graduates with the opportunity to train to become secondary school teachers. This one year full time course, based entirely in schools within our consortium leads to a PGCE, (Professional Graduate Certificate of Education), and Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
