become a teacher

Life in a school is busy and demanding but hugely rewarding. A teacher’s role is challenging, stimulating and never dull. We welcome trainees from a wide variety of backgrounds and experience – be it recent graduates from university, bankers, IT specialists or experienced professionals looking for a change.

Train in a

With KMT you can train to teach in Primary Schools or train to teach Maths, Physics, Physics with Maths, Chemistry, Biology, Computer Science, Modern Foreign Languages, English, History, Geography, RE, Business Studies, PE, Drama, Dance, Music, Psychology, Art, DT, Economics, Health and Social Care, Media and Sociology.

across 3 routes

Whether you train through the KMT Core programme or through one of KMT’s Partner Schools through the School Direct Salaried and Non Salaried routes you will have an opportunity to gain Qualified Teacher Status and work towards a Top Up Level 7 PGCE qualification, delivered at KMT and online by the University of Brighton.
