Leigh Academy Halley is now recruiting for a Teacher of Design,Technology & Engineering to join us from September 2026.
This is a truly fantastic opportunity for a passionate educator to become part of a well-established, collaborative and successful team to ensure that students enjoy a challenging, dynamic and rewarding technology curriculum. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work within our Engineering and Design Centre, a purpose-built state-of-the-art facility that will prepare students for future employment in this sector.
This is a permanent opportunity that offers a competitive MPS + Inner London salary, commensurate with experience. We welcome applications from prospective colleagues who would wish to work part-time, as well as full-time. Within our Technology department, students explore the disciplines of design, technology & engineering.

- Engineering and T Level Engineering courses see students continue and enjoy their Level 3 Technology
- studies.
- We believe in developing staff into outstanding practitioners through our excellent CPD programmes.
- This is further supported through our membership of the Leigh Academies Trust which provides regular teach-meets and co-operative training sessions within the trust to facilitate staff and student growth.
