Job Summary: Riverview Infant and Junior School are looking to recruit enthusiastic and committed Higher Level Teaching Assistants to join our talented, supportive team!

The hours will be 8.30am – 3.45pm, Monday to Friday, 38 weeks per year, term time only. The starting salary is Kent Range 7, currently £26.515 FTE, pro-rata to an actual salary of £19,541.87 based on 31.25 hours per week, 38 weeks

We are looking for a highly motivated HLTA who is a flexible, positive, enthusiastic person, who loves working with children with the ability to contribute to our school’s community and vision, helping children to achieve their potential.

We are looking for:

recent experience in the role of a TA or HLTA
strong Literacy and Numeracy skills to enable you to have a positive impact on children’s progress
high expectations and is passionate about encouraging the best from every pupil, enabling every child to fulfil their potential
the ability to contribute to, and work as part of a team
excellent communication skills and a flexible attitude
effective time management and an ability to work on own initiative
good IT skills
Someone who can lead the class across multiple year groups.
We are ideally looking for two colleagues to join the HLTA team. One colleague will be mainly based in Years R, 1 and 2 and the other in Years 3, 4, 5 and 6.
