At Leigh Academy Mascalls, we believe drama has the power to transform confidence, ignite creativity and inspire young people to find their voice. We are now looking to appoint an enthusiastic and passionate Teacher of Drama to join our vibrant and supportive performing arts team at an incredibly exciting time for the academy.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a talented Teacher of Drama to work in a school that truly values the arts and recognises the important role drama plays in students’ personal development, self-expression and academic success. You will join a department led by dedicated subject specialists who are passionate about delivering engaging, high-quality lessons and creating memorable opportunities for students both inside and outside the classroom.

Our excellent facilities reflect our ambition for the subject, with fantastic learning and performance spaces that support creativity, collaboration and high-quality productions throughout the year. Whether delivering dynamic classroom teaching, directing performances or encouraging students to develop confidence on stage, you will play a key role in nurturing talent and inspiring the next generation of performers and creatives.

We are seeking a teacher who can bring energy, creativity and ambition to the role and who is committed to ensuring every student feels encouraged to participate, perform and succeed. The successful candidate will become part of a collaborative academy community that is ambitious for both its students and staff alike.

The team is open to considering both full-time and part-time applications for this position, with a minimum commitment of four days per week.
